Foreign participants on Czech championships
Short introduction to rules of participation of foreign athletes in competitions on the national level in the Czech Republic.
Local competitions
As for the local competitions, there is no limitations for foreigner to parcitipate.
National competitions
These limitations are most strict for Foot Orieenteering and least for Trail-O.
Czech cups
As you need to get license to normally competete in the competitions, you (= same way as Czech runners:
- can become part of one of the Czech clubs and get licence after needed results in some competitions/ask for a wild card for the licence).
- ask for a wild card to your competition level category.
Individual Czech championships
Generally the same case as in the Czech cups, although it could be more difficult to qualify for a wild card. You need to prove your competition level more thoroughly.
Relay Czech championships
The most strict limitations are set up here. Usually, only Czech clubs can compete in the Czech relay/club championship, so you need to find one. Then, there are minimum limits for a number of competitions you have to run prior to the Czech relay championship (in the same year) and limit for a number of foreign participants in one team.
